In this video, we’ll show you how to set up your SecuX Nifty, create your PIN, and generate 24 recovery words as your seed phrase. It’s easy and straightforward!
Initial Prep
Grab a pen to write down the recovery seed and choose a private and quiet environment with a secure network. Make sure you have installed the SecuX Wallet App for Nifty from the App Store or Google Play.
Follow In-App Tutorials
Launch the SecuX Wallet App for Nifty on your mobile device. Read and accept the Terms of Use, then tap “Next”. Select “Create Wallet” and review the educational slides. Then tap “Let’s Go”.
PIN Code
Turn on your Nifty wallet, then start to create your 4~8 digit PIN code. Once you’ve set up your PIN code, enter it again to confirm.
Setting Up a New Wallet
The next step is to generate your seed phrase for a new wallet. Tap on “Setup as a New Wallet”. Read the notes on your Nifty wallet and tap “Next”. Now return to the app, and go through the educational slides about the recovery seed phrase. Read and tap “Next”.
Recovery Phrase
On your Nifty wallet, select the number of recovery words you want to generate. Here’s the most crucial part of the setup process. Take one of the recovery sheets from your SecuX Nifty box and write down all the words in the correct order with a permanent ink pen. Tap “Next Page” until you’ve finished writing all the words. Now, let’s confirm the seed phrases you’ve just written down. You’ll verify each word in order. Once everything is correct, your new wallet is all set.
